Luke was forged in the fury of a massacre.
Seizing the mantle of alpha from the tyrant bear shifter
responsible for the carnage, he works to rebuild his broken
pack. His elders insist he find a mate to calm the animal
raging inside him, but Luke doesn’t believe it’s possible.

Cassie has been on the run her entire life.

As a special type of bear shifter, her old pack will stop at
nothing to find her. The last thing she needs is an alpha
digging into the secrets of her past.

One stolen moment is all they needed, but an unexpected

pregnancy binds their fates and Luke develops feelings he’s
never had. When another pack shows up at his doorstep in
search of the one he loves, an impending battle looms.

Will Luke be able to save Cassie and win her over for good,

or is it too late?

Oh my god! What a phenomenal book. How I so love books
by Sarah J. Stone. She crafts such wonderful tales; it
makes it nearly impossible to put the book down. You just
have to finish it now. There is no waiting for later.

This book is about Luke the giant teddy bear of an Alpha.
That is till you mess with his loved ones. Then he is all
growly grizzly bear. And this is how he meat Casie, and a
shifter on the run. You see she is not your typical shifter. She
is special.  And terrified if anyone finds out she will meet a
fate worse than death. But what she does not know is Luke is
not the normal alpha either. He is kind and loving and will do
whatever it takes to save her. If only she will trust him and
lets him. I will warn you this has a part in the book where
there is some horrid violence that takes a Childs life. It
almost broke me having had a much similar lose. The
emotion Sarah invokes is so good it feels for real. And I did
cry, and have to set the book down for a bit. Then I got just
as mad as the momma bear and wanted to kill the evil doer
 myself. So be warned.

Now before I ruin this for you I will leave off here. I hope you
enjoy this book as much as I did. If you do like this book,
please consider leaving a review. The Authors really like it
when you do; they value your opinions too.

Sarah J. Stone began her life in the mountain town of
Aspen, Colorado, where she spent her childhood skiing,
photographing, and exploring the wild outdoors that
stretched out before her. Her favorite spot, where she spent
most of her time, was the bank of the Roaring Fork River.
There she would revel in the breathtaking scenery and
daydream about fantasy worlds and made-up stories. She
would often have a writing pad in one hand and a cup of hot
chocolate in the other.

As a postgraduate, the non-writing part of her career led her
to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, where she worked
to prevent abuses in human rights. However, she never
stopped writing fantasy tales as a way to escape and
rejuvenate from the stress and flurry of the real world.
This is why she fuses her fanciful shifter stories with strong,
 smart heroines.

Now, as a full-time author and coffee addict, you’ll find Sarah
at local coffee shops pecking away on her keyboard -
drawing out the images, characters, and dialogue before they
escape her mind. She adds sugar to her coffee and shifters
to her literature.
