I loved this book!!!! I love the Bad Boy Rockstar turned great
Man. Whew and that description of Asher talk about hot. And
how he took to being a father was truly a wonderful thing.
Not many men would move to the town where the child they
never knew about lived. Heck the bad boy rocker type is not
the typical type to drop everything for a kid. Most would just
though money at it. That says something about Asher, how
he would move the world for Hawk or Gloria. And man does
he love her. Now he just has to make her want it too. Gloria
is a tough cookie. She had a rough life growing up, but she
made something out of her life. She also has a hard time
letting anyone in, and having been basically on her own from
a young age. And Asher pushes those limits. Before she
knows it she has I world full of family and friends. Now as
long as she stops running, maybe she can find that more is
actually better in some cases. I love all the emotions in this
book; you can feel it as you read along. It is one of the
reasons I love Jessica Lemmon’s books. You can just feel all
the emotions she put in her books. That is why I love to read
them. Now before I ruin this for you I will leave off here.
I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did. If you do like
this book, please consider leaving a review. The Authors
really like it when you do; they value your opinions too.

He's a mess...

Asher Knight has three constants in his life: music, beautiful women, and a bottle of Jack. He lives for the next gig, the next city, and dreams only of a life spent in front of an arena full of screaming fans. But Asher's nomad ways come to a sudden stop when he learns he's the father of a three-year-old from a past relationship and suddenly this rock star bad boy is forced to put down roots.

Only she can clean up

Gloria Shields is no one's fool. Sure, the sexual chemistry between her and Asher has always been intense, but she'd never risk giving her heart to a man who has a perfect record for breaking them. Except the man desperate to make things right with his newfound son is nothing like the rock god she's guarded her heart against for years. And it isn't long before she starts to wonder if life with this bad boy might be the best thing that's ever happened to her.

“Listen, Asher”—she cleared her throat and tore her eyes away from his biceps, which were absolutely delicious and testing the limits of his T-shirt in the most distracting way possible—“I don’t know what you think you’re doing—”
“No, you listen.” He palmed her hip much like Brice had earlier, but unlike Brice, when Asher touched her, her nipples perked up and every inch of her grew warm. Asher’s nearness, one hand gripping her firmly as he looked down at her with dark hunger in his eyes, was so hot she couldn’t think.
The crowd milling around them were having loud, drunken conversations, so he lowered his face to her ear to speak.
“I’m coming for you, Sarge.” His hand moved from her hip to her lower back, his fingers splaying wide and slipping beneath the material of her shirt. “Bet you’ve never had anyone come for you, have you?” His nose moved along her ear, warm breath tickling her skin. “Bet you were a rebellious teen with a nose ring and a bad attitude and all you wanted was to feel good.”
No nose ring, but the rest was scarily accurate.
“Well, guess what, honey?” he continued, his fingertips sizzling on her bare skin. “I’m going to make you feel good. I’m the only one who can.”
He pulled his face away and she had to will her mouth to close. Her teeth clacked together as her brain scrambled to figure out what part she should argue with first. Wrenching a fist around his T-shirt, she tugged him close. A small smile played on his mouth, and his hand went higher beneath her shirt. He was anticipating a kiss, but she wasn’t going to kiss him.
“Listen up, you arrogant bastard.” Anger vibrated through her arms and a charge shot from her toes to the crown of her head. “You don’t get to claim me. I’m not your property. I can do whatever I want.” Because she wanted to wipe that stupid smirk off his face, she added, “And I can do whomever I want.”
His lips flinched, but he didn’t back away, stepping even closer and touching the tip of her nose with his. Her vision was now swimming in dark hair, dark eyes, and the sexiest smirk she’d ever seen.
It’s not sexy. It’s stupid, remember?
But it wasn’t. And the rest of her knew it. Her nipples tightened, her body tingled, and the hand she’d wrapped around his shirt began to sweat…
“You do me, Sarge. No one else,” he said.
“I’m not”—she had to swallow around a very dry throat to finish—“doing you.”
“Brice McGuire doesn’t know how to make your body sing. I do.” He slid his nose along hers and moved his hand from her back to her hair. She shivered. “Want me to make your body sing, Sarge?”

My name is Blackie, I’m the vice president of the Satan’s
Knights MC and I’m an addict. I’ve been trading one
addiction for another for as long as I can remember. I make
no apologies for my addictions, nor do I try to hide them.
Until my latest addiction threatens to destroy not just me but her.

For the first time I want to fight the need and not gravitate
towards it. I try to deny it and not succumb to it but I’m a
prisoner to her purity. I’m Satan’s soldier, a demon dressed
in leather.  She’s an angel, innocent and full of light,
she’s my lace.

A temptation so lethal neither of us may survive but,
every demon craves an angel.

Guide me to the light.
Take me from the dark.
Give me back my life.
Let me share yours.
They are the selfish words of an addict and they are my truth.
My name is Lacey Parrish and I have a secret, one I’ve tried
to deny for a long time, one I’ve tried to spare the world
I am a manic-depressive.
Just like my dad.
Some days I’m high on life.
Most days I try to escape it.
People think they know me, they think they see me but the
truth is no one knows who I really am. No one sees the real
me… a broken girl with a mind that betrays her.
Except Blackie.
He’s my savior, the man who silences my maker.
He’s my knight in shining armor, the man who puts my life before his.
He’s my leather and I’m his lace.
Two broken souls that have the power to heal one another.
This is our story, an unapologetic tale full of temptations.
A love story called Leather and Lace.

Lethal Temptations Full Jacket Cover

This was Lace.
My angel.
And I was the reason she looked so conflicted. There was no maker to blame, just me.
Say it.
I see you.
“I see you, Lace,” I whispered.
“A lot of good that does me,” she replied.
I shook my head.
“No good at all,” I affirmed as I extended my hand, taking hers and pulling her against me. “You’d be better off if I never laid eyes on you,” I added, squeezing her hand before I lifted my free one to her cheek. “Too late,” I hissed. “Cause girl, I see you and now I can’t fucking forget you,” I admitted.
The song changed on her iPod and music filtered through the speakers. I watched recognition spark in her eyes as she turned her attention to the speaker.
“Did you ever hear this song?” She asked softly, her voice blending into the music.
“No,” I said, taking a step toward her, bending my knees and bringing us to eye level. I leaned my forehead against hers, taking our joined hands and bringing them behind her to rest against the small of her back.
I didn’t know what the fuck I was doing but I couldn’t stop.
My lips grazed her temple as she pressed her body against mine, dropping our joined hands to wrap both her arms around my neck.
“Listen to the words,” she demanded.
You’re saying I’m fragile I try not to be
I search for something only I can’t see
“Will you dance with me?” Her voice pleaded as she whispered the question.
I learned then that even the toughest motherfuckers had weaknesses and mine was standing in front of me asking me to dance.
I didn’t fucking dance.
But now I did.
My feet surrendered my soul, taking the steps to bring me closer to her and give her what she needed. I’ve been feeding off her light for so long, taking the sweetness of her greedily because I’ve become addicted to the hope she sparks in me.
Hope that there was a shred of decency buried beneath the leather.
Repay her.
Give her back her wings.
Make it better.
Looking at her now, the selfish reasons that brought me here faded away and are replaced by the need to put her first. To put her before me, to give her back her light and pull her from the sadness that had her crying in solitude.
Just this once I could do the healing and not the reaping.
My hands moved down her back, cupping her ass beneath the t-shirt that barely covered her and I rocked her against my body.
“Blackie,” she whispered.
“Lacey,” I groaned. “I didn’t come here for this,” I said, slipping my fingers beneath her lace panties.
“I know why you came here,” she said, pulling back a fraction as her gaze dipped to my lips. “But I will do everything I can to change your mind,” she promised.
It wouldn’t take much.
