Title: Fire
Series: A Dragon's Novel #1
Author: Tiffany Flowers
Genre: Paranormal Romance
Dragons
are not supposed to exist. They are just fairy tale
creatures in
stories used to get children to sleep. Now faced
with a living breathing
Dragon, Jade Teal has no choice but
to believe. And with this newfound
knowledge, danger
arrives at every turn.
Alex
Sparks is the leader of the Drac Dragon Clan. He
doesn’t want a mate,
ever. Sent out on a rescue mission
to save a human female, he comes face
to face with
someone that he did not expect. To protect her, his world
will be set on fire.
Now that was a
hell of a hot read. I love paranormal
romance and this one was hot. I loved how
the book just
flowed it as a fast read for me ,but I just could not put it
down. I read it straight through. So when I looked up it was
5am in the
morning. Good thing I did not have a job to go off
to, as I had no sleep I was
so wrapped up in the book. This
is the first book in the series for this book. And
what a hot
start to a series this was.
This is Alex and
Jades story there has not been any mate for
a long time. When Layla has a vision
of jade, she contacts
the others to send help to rescue her. Hopefully before
anything horrible happens to her. When Alex reaches her he
finds he surrounded by
slayers, but as Jade screams the all
turned to ash. Alex is not sure how it happened
just knows
she is his. I felt so bad for Jade and how she was forced to
live
after her mother was killed. As she told Alex about
herself it brought tears to
my eyes. But hearing her story
helps explain why Jade is the way she is. Thinking
she will
be safe in the village Alex he leaves to take care of things.
But this
is just the start of all the problems they only get
worse when the other pack
of dragons show up and along
with it a crazy female dragon. When you find out
who is
behind all this it may not shock you but what Jade dose to
punish them
is priceless.
Now before I ruin
this for you I will leave off here. I hope you
enjoy this book as much as
I did. If you do like this book,
please consider leaving a review. The Authors
really like it
when you do; they value your opinions too.
“If you are looking for your next great read this is it!!
Tiffany takes you into a world where dragons are
real.” ~5 Star Amazon Review by Lisa
“The start of a series, and a great stepping stone for
what is going to be a fun and suspenseful series to read.”
~Amazon Review by M. Allison
Got the female. She is injured. I am going to hide out in the apartment to make sure she doesn’t need medical attention. If she doesn’t, we should be home tomorrow. I send across the line that connects my clan together. It is a mental connection that allows us to speak through our minds.
They all answer with okay except Dimitri who always has a smart ass comment. She must be your mate or you would have tied her to the back of your dragon form and dragged her here for someone else to tend to. Never thought I would see the big bad Alex brought to his knees by a careless female.
I growl through the connection, letting them all know he is right. SHIT. Shut up, Dimitri, or I will burn you until you’re almost dead, let you heal and do it all over again.
I shut off the connection, not wanting to hear their snide comments. How in the world is this fragile female mine? I need a hard female that can keep up with me, on and off the battlefield. I walk to her to make sure she is breathing, even though I know my body would know the instant she wasn’t. The magic coming off my body has found her. There is no turning back. She has already become the air in my lungs. It is how Dragons’ bodies are made. Nothing my head thinks matters now. My heart has found its rhythm.
She begins to come to. She coughs and groans. Her eyes flash open and meet mine. They are blue. Blue like the bottom of a flame.
