This was such a wonderful Love story. I will warn you when
you pick it up make sure you have nothing else you need to
do. I could not put it down till I finished the book. I thought I
would pick it read a few chapter before bed. UM well no I was
up all night. Next thing I know it is seven am and I have
finished the book. Also keep the tissues handy, this book
made me laugh, but it also made me Cry sad and happy tears. It is one
heck of a book. I loved every minute of it and when you add
the music from the book to it when I reread it Pausing for
each song in the book,it was mesmerizing. I love our hero
Josh that even though he did not want to lose her, as he
loved her so much he let her go. But Rachel was not treated
right in LA, and it was so heartbreaking the things that
happened to her. I loved the tie in to the last book. when
Rachel needed help and found Leo and sweet little Angel,
who wanted to fix Rachel's bobo's. It was wonderful. I was
so happy with the ending of this book. the Last song is my
absolute favorite. It was truly the best long on the list. It
means alot to me too on a personal level. And the song
Rachel sings from her heart for Josh near the end had me in
tears. and Melissa needs to submit it to a singer I'd love to
see it take off. She has a wonderful way of combing music in
her books. Now I am going to stop here as not to ruin the
story. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did. If you like
this book, please consider leaving a review as well. The
Authors really like to hear and they value your opinions too.
this review is different from amazon due to their program that
says what can be posted is faulty and I could not express all
my feelings I hope if you see both this is my first thoughts.

Rachel Myers never meant to stay in Payton. Her eyes were
set on bigger things than waitressing at Clark’s Bar. She
wants to perform on a stage of her own with bright lights,
fame, and fortune. But something got in the way—Joshua
Clark. He’s a good man who loves her, a solid rock she can
depend on. She wants that to be enough, but it hasn’t quelled
her yearning for the big city.
Josh knows Rachel wants more out of life and might leave
one day. Yet so far, she hasn’t gone anywhere. Deep down,
he believes his love is enough to keep her…or at least he
hopes so. Until one night, a city boy from Hollywood
promises Rachel a record deal and destroys everything.
Jumping at a chance she never thought she’d have, Rachel
leaves Payton. And Josh. But the sparkle of Los Angeles is
not all it’s cracked up to be, and Rachel quickly figures out
that some sacrifices are not worth the risk. Is she too late?
Will Josh forgive her, or has her desire for fame ruined
the best thing she’s ever had?
Sometimes you have to say goodbye before you can say forever.
