Paper Cranes (a Fairytale Twist novel)
By Jordan Ford
publication: June 23rd 2017

Tristan Parker is lost.
After living through his parent
s bitter divorce, Tristan
surprises everyone when he decides to uproot his life and
move across the country with his dad. Disenchanted, Tristan
deals with his pain by shutting out the world until one day,
when trying to retrieve a lost baseball, he climbs a tower and
meets a girl.

Helena Thompson is like no one Tristan has ever
encountered. Shes quirky, weird, and lives in an imaginary
worldher only way of coping with the bizarre life her
paranoid mother forces her to lead. Drawn by Helena
magical view on life, Tristan finds himself returning often to
the unique girl with the long golden hair. But spending time
with her is not an easy task, especially because their
relationship must be kept a secret.

When Helena
s mother discovers the truth, can Tristan find
the strength to fight for the girl who has awakened his heart?
Or will the paranoid woman who keeps her daughter under
lock and key stop their dreams from coming true?

Well hell! That book needs a warning label. I had
to wait a few moments before writing this review
in reference to this book. It is so artfully crafted
and written. But I did go through half a box of
tissues. It was one hell of an emotional ride.

This is Helena’s and Tristan's story. This book is
told solely from his point of view. Tristan has
been through a rough patch with his parents’
divorce. He is in a funk and so is his dad. Till he
climbs a tower to retrieve a ball and that is when
he finds Helena. And oh how sweet their story is
till her mom finds out. Her mom is ill mentally and
one thing leads to another and something horrible
happens. I wanted to scream when it did. And I
stayed teary eyed to the end of the book so be
prepared. I love that Jordan included poems and
quotes from some great writers. It is those little
touches that set her books up above the rest.

Now before I ruin this for you I will leave off here.
I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did. If you
do like this book, please consider leaving a
review. The Authors really like it when you do;
they value your opinions too

Jordan Ford is a young adult romance author.

Writing high school romances brings me the greatest joy.
My heart bubbles, my insides zing, and I am at my happiest
when immersed in a great scene with characters who have
become real to me.

Her first series, The Big Play Novels, is based on a high
school football team in the fictional town of Nelson, Idaho.

"I've totally fallen in love with this team and the girls that win their hearts."

Her second series, The Brotherhood Trilogy, delves into
romantic suspense and she's enjoyed delving into more
intense stories still soaked in romance.
