Descendants of the Amazons, the Scythians work
alongside prominent governments but answer to no
one. Warriors living on the fringe of civilization, they
live by one credo: Strength through Equality. Power
through Knowledge.
Nya Thalestris is the brightest Scythian of her
generation. Strong, capable, ruthless, she is sure to
earn a spot in the Trials, a time-honored mating ritual
responsible for the evolution of her species.
Abducted by their sworn enemy, the Drahzda, Nya is
forever altered and spirals out of control. The Society
sends in Jax Nickius. Infamous psychologist and one
of the most brutal warriors of their kind, he discovers
triggers planted in Nya’s mind. As Nya solidifies her
spot in the Trials, Jax develops a plan to help her heal —while pursuing her as a mate. But, Nya’s
attraction to Jax is at war with her instinct to never let
anyone get too close.
During the Trials, Nya’s repressed memories surface,
revealing a new enemy—one from inside the
consulate walls—and a traitorous alliance on the
horizon that could irrevocably change the course of
history.
Since before the Bronze Age, the Society has
managed to safeguard humanity from itself … until
now.
Holly Hell what a book! This is a
phenomenally well written
and thought out book. It was such a joy to read. It had this
wonderful flow to it and I had a
hard nearly impossible to put
down.
This Anya’s story. Nya is well,
simply her mind is a mess
there is something missing. And Jax is trying to help
her
unlock it. But she is ready to go to the trials. Which is an
Amazonian
passage of write to choose her Romni. But man
is she in for a shock at the five
chosen that were picked for
her to choose from. But there is a person from her
past that
wants her for his own and god help her. But ahe has been so
much as
her memory is unlocked Dr Jax and Victor will
have to help her. But when a bad
one surfaces she starts to
question who she can trust. When the evil from her
past
gets her will she be able to escape or will she be saved in
time. I have
to say the end was sad I felt so bad for all she
lost and some she may never
get back.
Now before I ruin this for you I
will leave off here. I hope you
enjoy this book as much as I did. If you do
like this book,
please consider leaving a review. The Authors really like it
when you do; they value your opinions too.
