When Andre’s father is assassinated by the Lozano cartel,
duty to his tiny island country in the South Pacific trumps his
fear and guilt. Being next on the hit list, forces Andre to hide
on a remote Texas cattle ranch. There he meets strong-
willed Gemma Westfall, a fascinating and trigger-happy
ranch hand who pushes the limits of his self-control.
Gemma has no patience for liars and gamblers, and
something about this visitor crawls up her spine. His
penetrating gaze heat up her core, reigniting a dark passion
and a history she’d buried long ago.
When the assassins find Andre and destroy Gemma’s home,
vengeance guides both of them into dangerous waters.
Wow what a ride. This book was awesome. So
well written and
paced just right. I so cannot wait to read the next book.
This book is about André and Gemma and of course
the bad guy
Benedeto. This vile man has killed the royal family or at least
some of them. That is why Andrés is hiding on the ranch Gemma
works on. He is a
stuck up brat at the beginning of this book and
man does he have a way of
ticking off Gemma. And man is she a
badass herself. She helps run the horses
can out shoot most men
and for fun she kick boxes and I do not mean the sissy
exercise
kind. I mean leave you black and blue when you’re done. So she
takes
no crap form anyone. And when the bad guy’s sends thugs
after André, oh boy are
they in for a surprise. With little Pete she
takes the fight to them. But not
all survive along the way so be
prepared as it made me tear up a few times.
Now
before I ruin this for you I will leave off here. I hope
you enjoy this book as much as I did. If you do like this
book, please consider leaving a review. The Authors really like
it when you do; they value your opinions too.
