When Astri wins the final contest, becoming the Duke’s
assistant, things take a turn for the worse. She realises that
she might have made a dreadful, life-altering mistake.

Visitors from Samara join the duke inside the castle and

suddenly tragedy strikes.

A young girl is found stabbed to death in Astir's old chamber–

when only late the night before, Astri herself had slept in that
 very bed.

Could it be possible the killer murdered the wrong shifter?

In a series of dangerous situations and tumultuous magical
trials, secrets about Astri’s past are revealed. With Astri's
past now in the forefront, her life is in even more danger than
before. Will the killer be identified before another murder
takes place?

If you have not read book one see my review of  book one here

Wow that was one hell of a book! Gods! How I love this
series by Joanna Mazurkiewicz. The books are all so expertly
well-written. The book had a Wonderful flow to it. This is the
spectacular continuation of Astri’s story. I so can't wait for
 the next book.

This is continuation of Astri's story. Astri has won the final
contest, becoming the Duke’s assistant; things take a turn for
the worse. She is now regretting what she let be done.
And Jorgen is sulking over his loss. He now has his father
back but has lost something even more precious to him.
And someone is still trying to kill Asti. Now she is on a quest
to help him get it back. Only there is a small problem no one
can know. And then his betrothed shows up and man what

a piece of work she is. Only she can save Jorgen and
herself. But man what a journey this is. But Jorgen has
feeling for Asti and is hot and cold leaving her to wonder
what she should do next. But omg when you find out who
is behind all this it will floor you. I am so read for book three.

.Now before I ruin this for you I will leave off here. I hope you
enjoy this book as much as I did. If you do like this book,
please consider leaving a review. The Authors really like it
when you do; they value your opinions too
